Our company name, Karyoo, is based on the Japanese word, Karyū. The literal English translation for the word is "downstream". We felt this was the perfect word to match our vision to build an AI automation platform that drives efficiency downstream in an organization with greater predictability and better outcomes.

Workflow Experts
Peter Thomson and Franz Torrez are the co-founders of Karyoo. Peter is a seasoned entrepreneur who has successfully exited multiple tech startups, including a workflow management venture in 2021. He also served as a business owner advisor at Merrill Lynch, and his mission now is to create billions in enterprise value for small business owners. Franz, armed with a master's in AI technology, spent years developing on-premise process automation systems for small-to-medium businesses. Recognizing a massive opportunity, he pivoted to migrate his solutions to the cloud, harnessing the full power of AI to drive even greater impact. ​​
